I am not going to write about the smell, b/c it is there and everyone says that. It will go away. I am not going ot write about frustrations with Fed Ex, b/c that is not an actual review of the item. But I will say that having researched memory foam mattresses to death this one does not dissapoint. It is so comfortable and there is barely a difference between this and tempur-pedic. I was really apprehensive about purchasing this online…I mean how crazy is purchasing a mattress like that?? Trust me, it is worth clicking purchase. The moment this hugs your body you are hooked. It might also be worth looking into a platform bed. This thing is huge! It towers over my nightstands. So that’s my take…great price, great mattress, decent delivery time. I bought a king size a couple of weeks ago and liked it so much that I bought this one for my mother. This mattress is even more comfortable than the 10″ king size. I have spent some time shopping memory foam mattresses locally and this mattress is as good as any and better than most I looked at in shops and stores. Like with mine, her only complaint was this mattress is a bit too warm but I adjusted to it and stopped noticing it after a week or so. So far, so good. If her impressions change, I will edit this review.

Well like me, she adjusted to the warmth of the bed. She says she doesn’t even notice it anymore. She says she has less back pain and sleeps longer between wake-ups. I recommend these mattresses, they are a rare bargain.

I had bought a 10″ Queen DynastyMattress for my daughter (previous review) and she loves it so I thought I’d give one a try. I replaced my 0 cheap spring mattress that I bought less than a year ago with a 12″ Full DynastyMattress. As I mentioned in my previous review, I have never slept on a memory foam mattress before so I knew I was taking a chance. I’ve always thought that they were too hard.

This mattress arrived about a week after I ordered it and uncompressed in a few hours. Yes, there is the smell but it didn’t bother me and went away after about 3 or 4 days. The first night it seemed a little different than a regular mattress but I woke up without any back pain for the first time in over a week. After that, I forgot I was resting on memory foam and it just seems like a regular mattress to me. Not too firm and it springs back when I change positions. My wife really likes it but says she won’t get one because her old Temper-Pedic made her too hot at night. I don’t notice that but I like being warm anyway.

Long story short, a sizable investment at 0 but worth every penny so far. No back pain and very comfortable. If I can get 5 years out of it I’ll be very happy.

This mattress is amazing. I have had it for about a month. It is super comfortable and great for my back. My boyfriend is a landscaper and his back was always hurting, but since I got my new mattress he sleeps over almost every night and never complains about his back anymore. Everyone mentions the smell when you remove it from the plastic wrap, but I was not too bothered by it. I have a strong sense of smell, and although there was definitely a smell, it wasn’t necessarily bad. Also, it cleared up after about a day. I would recommend this mattress to anyone!

To make this short and sweet we paid alot of money for a sleep number bed which we suffered on for 5or so years. Finally when I could barely stand up straight in the mornings we started shopping for a new mattress. We decided on the expensive name brand memory foam mattress and were ready to sign on to a 3yr payment plan when I decided to check on Amazon. We came accross this bed and felt we had nothing to lose (it was about 15% of the price we were going to pay) and we have not regretted the decision. We have had the bed for 3+ mos- no complaints!! As a person with chronic back issues, I feel great on this bed- thank you!!!

I was fairly hesitant to purchase a bed online. I did a lot of research regarding memory foam beds by reading online and also talking to sales people in stores. First I found out about different densities and materials of memory foam. Some of the ones that I saw at places such as Sam’s Club were made of 100% Polyurethane. For a base Polyurethane is fine but for the whole bed it does not qualify as a memory foam. Viscoelastic is what the top part of the bed with an avg thickness of 3″ (this one has 5 because it has the extra 2 inches of egg crate shaped layers for the pillow top). While some other beds have the correct material and correct thickness it might not have the correct density of the Viscoelastic. Lesser quality beds will have less density. Tempur-Pedic and other high quality memory foam beds have a density of 5.3 lbs of density. When there is less density the bed won’t work like a memory foam bed. It will sag and you’ll probably wake up with some sore backs. All in all this was a great deal and is a great bed. It arrived in five days from when I ordered it in excellent condition. The warranty is for ten years (amazon quotes it incorrectly).

Pros: Arrived ahead of schedule, in great condition. Very comfortable bed. I am extremely happy with it. Helps my wife a lot, she’s pregnant and the memory foam helps out her back quite a bit.

Cons: Takes a week or two to “soften it up” and get used to it (but is fantastic when you get used to it). Smells like when new carpet has been put down in a house for about three weeks. I have read a lot of things about the chemical smell being toxic and causing asthma. I have had difficulties with asthma for 26 years now and can get an asthma attack from cats, dogs, dust, running, and lots of other things. I was a little worried this smell might cause some asthma attacks however, I have never had an attack from this smell. I don’t wake up wheezing or anything.

Conclusion: Great bed, great deal, arrived in 5 days. For me the Cons are minuscule in comparison to the Pros. Will/have already recommended to my friends.

Ordering and shipping went smooth, the bed was delivered on the date promised. Comparison shopping was difficult, if not impossible, but after reading as much online as I could find and trying out many other brands of memory foam mattresses, I decided to take the chance and order the Dynasty… which was a jump in faith for me. In my eyes, this was a big purchase to make without trying it out, but the reviews on Amazon were good and the price was fantastic, so we did it. I’ve found most other brands to be slightly firmer than the Tempur-Pedic, so with that in mind I made sure to order a softer mattress than I might normally buy. That was a good move, as the comfort level of our new mattress is about perfect (King Celebrity 12 inch.) I almost ordered the Cloud, it was a tough decision. Every brand has a distinct feel, although they are similar in many ways. This one has less of a “sinking” sensation than others but is very comfortable and back pain has been zero. The smell was not as strong as some may say, although others could be more sensitive. During the first week we stripped the sheets off every morning and opened the windows to reduce any chance of odor. There is still a slight whiff occasionally. It will take a few months before giving this a complete and fair review but we are quite satisfied so far. There is no denying the price difference, less than 0 for the Dynasty vs ,000 for the Tempur-Pedic. That was the single biggest factor in our decision.

UPDATE: After a month of using the mattress I am thoroughly impressed and increased my 4 start rating to 5. It took a few weeks to get acquainted with the feel, as I always slept on a traditional spring mattress, but since then I have slept better than anytime in recent memory. I don’t wake up in the night and hardly toss and turn, which was a regular occurrence in the past. No more back pain either. Very satisfied!

I was looking for a memory foam mattress which would not blow a hole in my wallet. The chemicals smell lasted a few days and the bed expanded to full size in 5 hours. This bed is firm which is what I like. You sink into the bed gradually and the memory foam cocoons your back. I love this bed and have not had any back trouble since I purchased it. I have mixed feeling about this bed.

It still smells quite strongly and we have had it just on a month. It is memory foam so you expect it to be a bit stiff and then mold to the body – which it does – but it is very very hard. I would not agree with the description soft or luxurious.

We brought it for our son as a first bed – so luckily he is light and sleeps on almost everything. If I had of brought it for a guest room I would have been very very disappointed as it is not very inviting.

We have a memory foam bed in our master and it is wonderful but obviously the pillow top makes all the difference.

The mattress arrived sooner than I expected, since it came from California and I am in New York; it took only 6 days from shipment to delivery. When we got it inside, we noticed a 2″ gash in the plastic packaging, that exposed the zipper on the mattress cover and caused it to get quite dirty and separated it from the cover itself. I notified the seller (who responded instantly, quite a surprise) and after seeing a picture of the damage that I sent them, they agreed to ship me a new cover, which I thought was very nice of them.

We then unpacked it the next morning, set it on our box spring and allowed it to inflate. There was NO odor, as is common with these mattresses (the odor is supposed to go away after a day or so). The mattress took 5 hours to fully inflate to a tad more than the 10″ I expected. I was able to sleep in it that night; and what a great night’s sleep I had! Sooooo comfortable!

I would recommend a mattress from Dynasty to anyone. Wonderful product, unbelivable value, and great customer service.

Do be aware that someone needs to sign for it when it’s delivered. Track your package, and when you see it’s “out for delivery” be sure someone is home when it comes.

I’ve always been terrible at falling asleep. And when my boyfriend moved in, every night the air mattress we were sharing would pop me up like a seesaw! I’d wake up all hours of the night, sore and stiff. We figured we needed a new bed, fast.

So I did my research. I ended up picking this mattress in particular because I liked the numbers it had to offer; this was the best deal on a 5lb+ density viscoelastic full-size foam mattress I found while tirelessly (ha) surfing the web.

Our mattress came in even BEFORE the earliest expected date, a nice surprise! We opened it immediately. Though the unpleasant odor it came with was subtle at first, it became unbearable shortly after! We aired the room out using several strategically-placed fans. The next day, I ran around and jumped on the mattress to force out more of the smelly air (Best. Chore. Ever.) and Febrezed it lightly. With a bit of patience and a lot of sheet-washing, I was able to ignore the smell completely by day 3!

After this first week, we can safely say we are both completely satisfied with this product. I stopped tossing and turning at night, and wake up feeling more refreshed and not at all sore! I’ve been falling asleep sooner consistently, and the bed only seems to get more comfortable by the day. Now that the odor is so faint, my only complaint about this bed is that it makes my roommates jealous!

If you haven’t done the detective work yet yourself, I strongly recommend it-there’s a lot to know about these kinds of beds! And the only way to tell if any bed’s right for you is to test it out. So don’t just take my word for it-we have different backs, I’m sure!

After a weeks research I decided on buying this mattress. This was the cheapest and most convenient option for me. I like the mattress a lot. I used to get up atleast 1 or 2 times in a night but after only 1 week sleeping on the mattress I sleep like a baby. The smell wasn’t a problem for me. I removed the cover and let it sit in my room for 2 days. Instead of buying on Amazon I bought it directly from company’s website, that saved me . I would recommend you do the same.

This mattress is incredibly firm. It’s almost like sleeping on the floor. I let it air out for 2 days in the living room to give it time to expand and get rid of the smell from packing. When I finally laid down on it the material was very comfortable. There’s nothing wrong with this bed, just don’t expect it to conform to your body much. I’m 6 foot and weigh about 215, I sunk maybe a half inch into the foam while laying down. When I was sitting up I sank in a decent amount. This bed is perfect for someone who likes a really firm mattress or is really heavy. I had to go to Walmart and buy a mattress topper because I couldn’t even sleep on this mattress it was so firm.

I purchased this topper for a hospital bed that my father-inlaw uses. He wears a clostophry bag on his side and his right leg has been amputated.( always ill and hard to please). I called Amazon and they promptly took care of a return. I then re-ordered a new one and this one came in at 38 x 80. My daughter took it to college let me know it was about 2-3 inches too wide. For her not a problem she just cut it. Leave it to dorm room ingenuity. The density of the topper is excellent esp. for a dorm room where it’ll only be use for 4 years. The quality is definitely worth the price. Also ship time was about 4 weeks and it was in within 10 days the second one arrived within a week.

We have slept on this mattress for 3 nights, and found that everything said about it in the product description is true, except for one thing: There is no cool comfort. This mattress gets roasting hot after a few hours of sleeping on it. Yes, it’s August, but we live in Idaho and it gets chilly at night. Plus, we are both cold sleepers. Waking up in the middle of the night and having to get out of bed because it’s too hot is a new and unpleasant experience for us.

There is really no way to send this product back, so we are stuck with it. We called Sleep Innovations and asked them to explain what they meant by marketing this as “Sure Temp.” They assured us that the foam is open cell and does not trap heat. Buyer beware.

The only way I can think to remedy the problem is to put a thick mattress pad on top, maybe of wool, to keep the foam from getting too hot.

Otherwise, it’s very comfortable to sleep on. We don’t hurt when we get up in the morning.

After I’d ordered this mattress, it hit me: I live alone, and my bedroom is up a flight of stairs. How the heck am I gonna….?

The box is heavy–over 70 pounds. But the mattress is folded in half, rolled, and compressed, so the box isn’t that unmanageable to haul up. Then you pry the mattress out of the box and let it flop open and un-compress. The instructions say to leave it open for 48 hours. This seems…unrealistic to me. I did it in the morning, and let it do its thing all day and slept on it that night. I’ll admit, there was a sort of chemical foam smell when you first open it, and a few hours later, but it’s gone entirely by the second night.

Sleep quality is nice. Mine is quite firm and supportive. Compared to the standard mattress (which it’s replacing) it’s a bit taller (so if you have mobility issues, you might have to adjust getting into and out of bed). I can see what they mean about limited motion transfer–before, when my beast of a cat would jump on the bed, oftentimes it would wake me up. Now, I don’t even feel him! Nice!

I know one reviewer complained about this mattress being sweltering? I am not trying to refute that, but that has not been my experience. I’m…of a certain age, where waking up with sweating is not that uncommon, and that has yet to happen to me. Which means it may yet happen as a hormonal thing, but I don’t think I can quite blame the mattress for it. (Sorry about the T.M.I., there!)

If you have two people to move this mattress, the troubles I’ve had will be a snap for you and you’ll be plenty comfy. I have a bad back and I’m already noticing a lot of improvement in my usual morning stiffness. Give it a try: I really love mine!

I had heard good things about the Memory Foam mattress, but I must admit I was a skeptic, especially when it arrived in a box the size of a mini-fridge. Could this possibly be a queen-sized mattress, and more importantly, could it possibly be comfortable? As soon as we removed the plastic seal, the answer to my first question became apparent. It “inflated” to the advertised 12″ queen size in seconds. As to my second question, I gave it the recommended 48 hours to settle before giving it a real test drive.

After one night on the Sure Temp mattress I was a believer. It was both soft and firm. There was some give to it, especially in the top layer, but it also provided plenty of support. I had none of the usual back pain when I woke up. I didn’t experience any issues with overheating either, as others have reported. All told it was a surprisingly comfortable night’s sleep.

I don’t think it’s quite as comfortable as our pillow-top conventional mattress, but I was very impressed with the Sleep Innovations Sure Temp Memory Foam mattress. How well a mattress works has everything to do with the individual user, so I hesitate to make a blanket (heh) recommendation. Still, I could see this mattress doing a lot of good for those who wake up in pain from conventional mattresses.

I received the 12-inch thick queen mattress. It came in a box about 40×24x24. It was hard to believe there was actually a queen size mattress in there. We took their advice and placed it on the bed where it was going to be left, and opened the vacuum sealed bag. The mattress expanded to most of it’s full size within minutes, and the foam was completely expanded within a couple of hours. Some reviewers had commented on the foam smell, but it was very slight, and even though we didn’t plan to, we could have slept on it the first night without it being a problem.

My husband has a pinched nerve in his hip, and has a really hard time getting comfortable at night, but not on this one. He laid down on his back, let out a big ahhhh, made the comment that he didn’t think he even needed a pillow with this mattress, that it was THAT comfortable, and was asleep within minutes. None of the usual tossing and turning.

I have no problem getting to sleep, so my assessment came when I woke up the next morning. Nothing hurt. My back felt great, I was well rested, no soreness anywhere, and I was SOLD.

I am in that age of hot flashes, so am miserable a lot of nights from that, but I had no problem with heat on this mattress. It stayed cool, even though it was foam, which was what I was worried about. But their claim that it does not trap heat was true.

We are actually considering replacing our other mattresses with these. I know our overnight guests would love it when they come to visit. No springs to wear out. Buy it. You’ll love it, and you’ll sleep great!
